A Collaboration of OAME, OMCA, and the Ministry: Teaching Grade 9 Applied Mathematics
Math 4 the Nines website shares the learning journey of ten school teams working towards enhancing their practices in the learning and teaching of Grade 9 Applied Mathematics. The site provides links to research, resources, and “workshops in a bag” that can be used to facilitate professional learning in boards and schools. This website also includes videos of plenary sessions, workshops and panel discussions form the Grade 9 Applied Summer Learning Institutes, on a variety of topics including assessment, creating dialogue, rich tasks, working across the grades, use of technology, and making thinking visible. | ![]() |
